Now, I don’t know about you, but Dennis Kucinich really knocks my socks off.

Dennis Kucinich

Cmon, with a face like that, how could you go wrong??

Supports abortion rights.
-Supports legal status for some illegal immigrants with long-standing ties to the U.S. Opposed legislation authorizing a 700-mile fence along the U.S.-Mexican border. (But personally, I’m not sure how I feel about the whole immigration thing)
-Voted against use of military force in Iraq. Voted against war spending bill with Democratic troop withdrawal plan because timeline was nonbinding and because it continued to fund the war. Supports ending war funding. Opposed Bush’s plan to send additional troops to Iraq. Opposes additional war funding and has called for troop withdrawal. Proposes opening talks with Iran and Syria to assist in Iraq. He vowed to create a Federal Department of Peace if elected in 2004. (Yess!!! Promoting discussion not violence!!) “Strength Through Peace” is a new domestic policy agenda he made that can provide Americans with jobs, with health care, with improved education, and with the tools and the resources to re-build our cities and our nation.
Supports same-sex marriage. Opposes constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. (He is the only Dem. who is pro-gay MARRIAGE rights. All the others are for civil unions ALTHOUGH, I will give them some credit, since I’ve heard from a lot of nominees that the unions and marriages will be equal as far as legal rights go.)
Opposed 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts. Opposed extending tax cuts through 2010. Supports restoring tax rates in place during Clinton administration. (The rich don’t need tax cuts! They don’t need social security either*)

Not to mention he’s VEGAN.

UNFORTUNATLY this amazing guy is only in the race with 1% according to CNN’s Election Center polls. Buuuuuuuuttttttt he, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, is for IMPEACHMENT!! He wants to put the name of everyone who supports Dick Cheney‘s impeachment in the Congressional Record! The Congressional Record is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. It is published daily when Congress is in session and is fully searchable. Every day that Congress is in session, Rep. Kucinich will submit 5 single-spaced pages of names with states, which is the daily limit under House rules. To be included, all you need to do is submit this petition. Isn’t he wonderful? Just imagine him as Prez… :D

Check out this video of Kucinich. Also, listen to what Barack has to say, I really like his philosophy of PACs: Will America be better off with Kucinich as president?

The beginning of this next vid. has nothing to do with Kucinich (:(), but at the end Mike Gravel challenges Barack. All in all, I still like Barack’s philosophy, and believe he enforces it. Are you a Liberal?

YOU MUST WATCH THIS VIDEO. KUCINICH IS GOD! Reparations? I believe the gov’t. should issue an offical apology to all indiginous and minority populations for all the harm they have caused in the past, and show ways they are going to stop and prevent this from happening in the future (GLBTTSQ ect. population anyone??)

The Republicans I could be happy with as President would be Ron Paul or Giuliani, with a preference on Rudy. Ron ran as Libertarian in ’88, and although he’s voting on the wrong side of MANY issues (in my opinion), he’s pro-peace, and thinks a lot of issues should be decided in the states (that would make Pete happy!). But Guliani is pro-abortion rights and supports domestic partnerships and legal benefits for same-sex couples, and is higher up in the polls.

On a side note, this is very scary to see: A lot of you are ungrateful traitors, if we pull out NOW then the troop’s would’ve died in vain. Until then SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID LIBERAL RETARDS and LET OUR TROOPS KICK THE SHIT OUT OF THOSE TERRORIST SAND NIGGERS!dumbledop

It was the very first comment I saw when I watched this video: Are the troops dying in vain?

What are you doing July 23rd? Well, besides attending my sign language class, I’ll be here: (taken and edited from an e-mail from

This July 23rd, a Monday, Cindy Sheenan (see below) will be leading a march from Arlington National Cemetery (gather there at 10 a.m.) to Capitol Hill, to the office of Congressman John Conyers to ask him to move forward with the impeachment of Dick Cheney. We will wear orange that day, a color that has come to stand for nonviolent revolution. We encourage as many people as possible to join us, and if you cannot, to phone Congressman Conyers’ office that day asking him to move forward on impeachment: (202) 225-5126.

Why July 23, 2007?

It is the fifth anniversary of the Downing Street Meeting, the meeting at Number 10 Downing Street at which the head of British intelligence reported that Bush and Cheney were intent on invading Iraq and were going to “fix the intelligence and facts around the policy.” The meeting was recorded in the Downing Street Minuteswhich were leaked in May 2005. It was then that we launched

On that day, Cindy Sheehan plans to announce her candidacy for Congress, challenging Speaker Nancy Pelosi to represent the 8th District of California. Sheehan’s candidacy is motivated by Pelosi’s actively blocking the impeachment of Cheney and Bush, but Sheehan won’t run if Pelosi endorses impeachment. Please phone Pelosi’s office right away and as often as you can to encourage her to support impeachment: (202) 225-0100.

Also, the 23rd in DC is part of a march from Texas to New York. Cindy Sheehan, Rev. Lennox Yearwood, and others are leading a march/drive from Crawford, Texas, to New York City. The march will include stops at the district offices of House Judiciary Committee Members Mel Watt, and Bobby Scott. You can organize a meeting, protest, honk-a-thon, or sit-in at your Congress Member’s office. One way to get organized is with this system. You can find events and create them here. And you can meet people in Facebook. Below is the route and a link for more information and to get involved.

The impeachment movement is gaining traction, and now is the time to push it all the way to success. Over the weekend, you made Impeach Cheney the number 1 video on Youtube! (Watch it if you haven’t- it’s not the best, but it’s very refreshing to see any kind of anti-Bush administration video reach #1)

On Friday, for the first time, a polling company asked Americans if they want Cheney impeached. A majority of 54% said Yes, and the poll was reported in the media. Congressman John Conyers even cited it on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. Also, On July 4 – how appropriate! — our Impeach Bush and Cheney petition passed 100,000 signatures! So now we’re raising the bar to 1 million. Have you and everyone you know signed? (I signed it- have you?) Also on July 4, Los Angeles opened an Impeachment Center, and on July 5 Philadelphia held an impeachment forum (see the video).

Impeach Dick and George!
